Conan O’Brien is leaving NBC and receiving a payout—and he’ll be free to appear on another network before his contract expires.
Leno’s return to a 11:30 “Tonight Show” has been confirmed. Conan’s free to take an offer from Fox, although it would be many months before he’d actually be on the air again.
